SHADOWS

behind those darkened shadows

eyes are cloudy; full of rain

pain my ongoing flood

I was crashing dropping; falling

tears drenched my pillows

trauma which ran through my vain

heart was cracked and breaking; Dripping blood

I was shaken, faking and broken

Soul hidden behind pains shade

on this emotional roller coaster; I'm filled with fear

my dreams were decomposing 

I was left damaged and hurt

behind the shadows; reality would fade

I became a traitor ;minds still unclear

taken by the tears and fears

safe haven is the sound of lightning

scars left on my healing heart

shadows which echo the devils cheers

shadows kept me sheltered

became my brick wall

stopped me from reality , hid me from the living

took away the sunshine and clear skies

dead flowers ; alot like my mind pretty and wilted

my lies , my addiction let me fall

with nothing left to be giving

fighting to survive the sorrow and cries

breaking through the devils fire

reaching for true desire
