Ain't no life to live LiL' Homie

Ain't no life to live LiL' Homie

A Poem by dani suzanne corke
"

recovery street life addiction

"
Life ain't easy; It's scars and tears
youngsters talking bout how they wanna live the street life
how they live to hustle
living behind their fears
lil homies be thinking survivals carrying a knife
scurrying at the sound of a whistle

kids ain't got no clue
act as if this the life to live
swag is no way and isn't gonna pay the bill
hustling for cash comes with a price
re-educations long over-due
selling out to this life, you'll end up with nothing left to give
tripping lil  homie on that pill
told ya not to shake the dice

Young thugs talking bout bad b*****s like you've had one
lil homies spraying idle threats
tripping, tweaking on their ice
still a life style you think you'll rule ??
lil homie why'd you let go ; became so far gone
why you selling ,and be acting like your selling a treat
taking people souls; living your ghetto paradise
what happened to going to school
lil thug why you tripping, tripping on your ways
you dreamt of this moment; Remember
believed an youngsta; You became
young homie would you come back to reality
busy with your drink tipping, dignity; Stripping as your soul strays
get the thrill out a being a wanna be gang member
young homie i see your shame
world need some peace and serinty
