Does true love ever really die?

Does true love ever really die?

A Poem by Danielle Calhoun

DOES TRUE LOVE EVER REALLY DIE?

I saw you:

Was it fate or perhaps by chance
we met and embraced?

I loved you

Eleven years ago
I felt love start to grow
True colors started to show

I told you I hated you

after our first fight
after realizing you were right

I will never forget you

When I got the call
that you were suddenly gone
my heart forever torn

I lost you

But are you really gone?

I believe the love is gone. The desire of a dream stays with us. People we allow in and show them our heart and soul will be a part of us till death. A good question to end the excellent poem.
