DEAR GOD…(v 1)

DEAR GOD…

I felt so down earlier today.
I talked to friends,
They really made my day.

I was so upset,
Over the littlest things.
I cried my eyes out,
Wrote a post or two.
Told everyone I was feeling blue.

I was not going to send another post today,
But I am sending one anyway
To show my friends that I’m still here,
To let them know,
I read their words of cheer.

It’s going to take some time, you see,
For me to get back into the swing of things.

I thought I was ready,
But I’m still trying to heal.

I’m glad to have friends,
Who understand how I feel.

Dear God,
Please help me heal.

I hate to cry,
I hate to whine,
But I know that I will be fine,
In due time.

But for now,
This letter I write to you,
Will let you know how I feel.
