DREAD

A Poem by Danielle Calhoun

DANI’S DREAD

I’m not used to the praise,
Or the cheers.

I sometimes want to hide,
For that’s my greatest fear.

Praise is for people like you,
Not for someone like You Know Who.

Thanks for all the praise,
And all the glory.

But for now,
No more poetry
