BEGONE!

You really had me fooled
I never thought someone could
do to me what you did
I wish that you never hid
like the coyote in the brush
sly and cunning
sometimes like the fox
stunning like the eagle
even though you were not regal
then I saw the wolf in sheep’s clothing
endangering the mind
of a woman such as I
with all your false love
man you were controlling
I hope someday
someone comes your way
and takes you on the path
that you should be walking
