A Letter to God

A LETTER TO GOD

Dear God,

I felt so down earlier today.
I talked to friends;
they really made my day.

I was so upset,
Over the littlest things.

I cried my eyes out,
Wrote a post or two.
Told everyone I was feeling blue.

I was not going to send another post today,
but I am sending one anyway.

To show my friends that I am still here,
To let them know;
I read their words of cheer.

It is going to take some time, you see,
For me to get back into the swing of things.

I thought I was ready,
but I am still trying to heal.

I am glad to have friends,
Who understand how I feel.

Dear God,
Please help me heal.

I hate to cry,
I hate to whine,

But I know that I will be fine,
In due time.

But for now,
A letter I write to you
will let you know how I feel.
