An Ode to PTSD

An Ode to PTSD

A Poem by Danielle Calhoun

An Ode to PTSD

Chaotic Dreams
Morbid Nightmares

Nothing is as it seems
Waking in a fog

Lights will not turn on
Thoughts will not stop

Waking or dreaming
Everything is flip flopped

Childhood is gone
wishing for the night

hoping for recovery
Daring things to go right
