Boredom Reigns

Boredom Reigns

A Poem by ghjckukc offcuo
"

oooooooold

"

sing now
and see your past somehow
the lights dim on your future
and the wounds won't suture

these things are all in your mind
don't forget to tell the darkness your kind
perhaps you'll see your end
or find a heart to lend

they said that the kings are all dead
and if you wish you can see a decapitated head
when we wore that dirty cloak
it smelled of old blood and smoke

but her wings are blessed to run as blades
and we run together through the Everglades
seeing that the hate was broken
and listening to the music bought with a token

ok now, I'm done writing this poem
George Bush is so like Jeroboam
but I must finish this part of it
hopefully it won't sound like too rotten s**t
