A Poem by Lizzy I

suspicion glimmers in your dark eyes
flushing my pale cheeks to scarlet
images of my naive mistakes
have been reflected around the dark room
a mirror, there is no use looking at it
it`s already been shown to me
falsified whispers scatter around the room
as my eyes turn to meet yours
there is no escaping your truth
you have spoken more lies to me
than grains of sand on the shore
cough, spit them out
cleanse yourself of your wicked lies
and wipe your dirty mouth clean
your voiced words are gone forever
you may never take them back

This is well written and I felt some intensity in it. I like it a bunch!
