Chapter 2A Chapter by Dancer
Behind her a door opened on silent hinges as an animal of unknown orgin stalked towards Sasha. It caught up with her quickly wrapping it’s changing tail around her ankles making her trip and fall. Bruises bloomed on her legs turning her porcelain skin shades of blue, red, and purple. Pain shot through her system as she stood causing a fresh flood of blood and tears that marred her beautiful body. As she wept she prayed over and over, whispering, “Kai,” asking that he save her and make everything better the way it used to be. “Shut your mouth and dry your tears Sasha,” a commanding voice said. She looked around through her tears managing to appear both calm and frantic in the one movement. “Kai!” it was as much a prayer as it was a cry for help. Her tears froze on her face and her blood glowed where it had fallen revealing her path down the corridors, leaving a trail like Orion’s Belt.
