The Grin

The Grin

A Poem by Dana W. White

They call him the warrior, brave among men.
If they only knew, what stood behind the grin.
He dances with wolves, he's light as a feather.
His loyalty, no modern superhero, could ever measure.
He's bound by a secret, slightly hidden, though not far.
His memories of life, cast with shadows of angry war.

Get too close, NO, not allowed, are the wanders
to a distance, they will stay, to admire from far.
This warrior, this braveheart, this kind man that you are.
Please take my life, for you to defend.
Always will I teasure, this warrior, his braveheart, his grin.
