Fall Out

Fall Out

A Poem by Dana Marie

The men with the powder get the sky as their canvas

But one day only our chimneys will be standing

And the men with the power get the sky as their canvas

But one day only their chimneys will be standing

So I sit and watch smokey, smokey

Silent killer on the second palm

war time shots, war time shots

but everybody keeps a delighted calm

Oh, I've got mushrooms in my eyes

But they tell me the c**k roaches will survive

I've got clouds in my eyes

But it's gonna be all right

Haha, really raw way of confronting environmental issues. This almosts sounds like a song the way it's written. Gd stuff.
