The SeaA Poem by danalyn
To wander and wallow
Through what is called the sea Rather I would wish for you To carry me upon the brushing waves My knees grazed with salt and fingers Cold Let me wade into the quiet of the stream The pulsating push and pull of water, Growing alike to reality of life itself. But carry me still, still and feel no sadness Only that heavy heart within, heavier now with death Let me one final chance to feel affection again, And let me kiss not your raw sadness, lonely forever But the sweet song of the sea beyond
