In My DreamsA Poem by Dana Ferguson
In my dreams we're scars,
our love behind bars. Your eyes lost their smile, you put on a show for awhile. You come to me forced by loneliness, but that love is here no more. That house burned down long ago, the ashes have blown to the shore. Don't forget how we were a prison, in this dream but also in life. When I wake I'll see you no more, but I know we'll both be alright.
