I'm Already There

Baby, I'm already there.

I got there a long time ago.

I've been there ever since you lay next to me,

under the stars on one of our first dates.

It didn't take me too long actually,

it was a quick trip.

I might have sped a little,

but something pushed me forward,

not letting me go anything but faster.

So yes I got there a long time ago,

and I'm still waiting for you.

When are you going to get here?

I suppose I'll keep waiting,

I know you're just farther away.

Let me know when you're close.

I can't wait till you get here.
