I'm on One Side, You're on The Other

I'm on one side and you're on the other.

Each facing something glorious without one another. 

Though we share love, we don't share much more. 

Our biggest dreams are not the same.

That's something that can't keep being ignored. 

We've tried our hardest,

and we're still unsuccessful.

I guess we should consider another solution.

Maybe we just shouldn't be together...

I know it seems harsh,

but we're holding each other back.

What you want, I can't imagine.

What I want, you can't stand.

There's not much room for compromise..

not when risks are this high. 

We are each at the moment that could positively redefine our lives. 

Are you willing to give that up? Am I willing to give that up?

If we get out now, we'll forget pretty soon.

Our hearts will mend..and we'll find something this special again. 

Not with each other, but with the one we each need. 

I know in this time, it's not the action you want to take.

But trust me dear, though you'll feel a little pain..you won't feel much regret.
