True Dimensions

Two people closer than it seems...

 

Only Two dimensions

Two dimensions between them now.

They do not talk,

They do not touch,

Just words and words

on the screen. Her fonts,

His,

They know nothing about each other;

and still they wonder what it would be like to meet a new old friend.

The moon and stars acknowledge them and their beautiful souls

It is simple, no complications.

Words can tell the whole story,

So only two dimensions, for now,

Yet it is only one step away.

Time means nothing,

as there is no time-

distance too,

just now.

In this moment two dimensions entertwined.

In my view, at least--it is perfect. The kind of love of which you speak might only have existed long ago in the form of letter-writing. Two dimensions--yes, that's what it is, and in some ways, it may even be better than three. A very intelligent, introspective and poetic look at this internet phenomena.
