What I feel a friend should

Imagine the concept of having a friend, defined

It is symbolic to that of an intellectuals mind

What a convenience it is to find that one of a kind

And live life as such,

A friend is an aspect of life that many things personify

That being that could be there to help you fly

What a decision with them to live or die

A simple choice, there is not much,

A friend understands concepts of great intricacy

A person who can always allow me to be me

The one who views a similar spectrum and sees

The unrelenting shame,

There is one and only one friend

Who's dedication is never in question through the end

And even when there are bonds that you have to mend

They will never forget your name
