Confession WallA Poem by Liam
Angels took their time to find me but the demons found me before I had known that I sinned,
The words that I didn't know and didn't understand, had damned me from the start. My life has been taken before my fingers, that trapped many lies, had been formed, My time here had been seen before I could form thought. He saw me and was able to see hope, Hope in me that I've never been able to see in myself. But God, save me because I don't feel like being saved, Many times I have watched the life raft sail on by because I wanted to drown. Whatever good is left in me is small in size, But it seems big in the daylight. When I'm out on my adventures giving my heart to the trees and the dirt, Help me to give it away a little less. Keep me in your embrace when I don't want to be held, Because, oh my God, I'm too weak to save myself.
