A Day On A ShipA Poem by Liam
They stole me from sleep and have abandoned me just as quick.
Now my land locked rowboat takes me nowhere, It allows me to slip into slumber once more. The pounding of feet fill my head, The race brings me to the uncut paths I once ran through. Just children at play, we were, Jumping and screaming at all we found exciting and new. Now I lye awake, The stars twinkle above me.
