A Poet's Love SongA Poem by Liam
I pull on the frayed edges,
My eyes take in the new. They don't see my point of view, They don't see you as I do. My, oh my, be mine forever and pull on my edges, Take in the new. Don't take me to the places I want to see, Point me in the direction of your destination. Let me walk amongst your dreams, I'll say a quick hello to your nightmares and spread a little sunshine. Set me in the right, Drop me where goodness dwells. Walking west will wake us up, Opening our eyes to the beauty that has grown all around. Make me half a poet who writes half a line, That way you can be my finished sentence.
