Short PoemA Poem by LiamI've taken time to count my sins that I've held close today, I've counted the ones that bark orders and the ones that silently nudge. For every ten of them, I've washed my hands, For every thirty of them, I've borrowed several different religions to ask for forgiveness. People like me are the worst to forgive, Right after confessionals we go out and make the same mistakes. I have decided to put each one of these inequities in a box, Just a place that I can easily access them for they are the only thing you can depend on me to do. © 2016 Liam |
