Just What I do

Just What I do

A Poem by Liam

I found what he was looking for,

Just a little too late.

I asked if he'll miss me,

"Maybe." he answered.

I felt like a fool,

Parading around like I don’t care.

It tosses from ear to ear,

Frustration sits brewing there.

It waits for the right moment;

When I will let it take over.

Self control then is my option,

I won't yell,

I won't scream,

Because I have no need.

I’ll let it take me over,

Just as soon as I lay down.

I’ll only be trapped in my dreams then.

I’ll only be trapped in my dreams.

An honest exposure of your true nature. I'm sorry for the pain you endured, dear poet, but I appreciate the artist expression you've created from the sorrow.
