A Poem by DamienHino

Shell you see is the shell i'll be.

Shall I break my shell I'll have another to wear.

No shame to bear if you hurt my skin, because it is not mine.

I'm somewhere in the distance using my shell as a resistance.

You couldn't hurt me if you tried, but the fact that I hide makes me a loser.

False reality like a drug abuser.

I'm finally living in my tomorrow.

Naked, but here.

With hope no more fear.

I know what I have to do thanks to you dear.

You gave me yesterday.

So naked i stand here facing tomorrow, and just breathing in today.

Love I will. Hate no more. Ego tamed. Good riddance guilt and shame.
