The Lost Peace Keeper

The Lost Peace Keeper

A Poem by Suppressed Minds

Her sorrow cries out

Beging fo help

but, when help comes

it hides from the world.

Strays from the pack

and turns away.

Despises the thought to come back

Yet still wants to stay.

Her joy starts to scream

as it fades away

still holding on

to the light of day.

She's lost in the world

but claims to be found.

She tries to call out

but doesn't make a sound.

Her heart screms for the light

and remains in the dark.

Trying to piece back together

what once fell apart.
