Now I Know

Now I Know

A Poem by Dallisa <3

Your face used to relax me, make my day worthwhile

The best part was that I could always make you smile

The patient way you listened, the way you seemed to care

That's what I miss most, now that you aren't there

You said you'd stick around, I found that to be true

But then you removed the mask, showed me the real you

I should have seen it coming, should have known this all along

That nothings built to last, that something would go wrong

Yet somehow it still shocked me, to know how hateful you could be

Now I know all the things, you didn't want me to see

Sometimes we are always the last to know and the truth really hurts more sometimes than the pain of knowing it was denied us for all and sundrie to contemplate, "oh but dear i didn't want to hurt your feelings" well you sure have now honey the means never justify the ends in this case.

wow...Now she knows, and now she's hurt. A pity these things happen. Lovely poem.
