I could REALLY relate to this. Been in that situation once... Never again. I've always been careful after that. So with me from then on it was "One chance and then no chance". ;) Honestly, I don't believe in second chances anymore. Anyway, this is such a strong piece. I like the structure and the stanzas. The way the poem kind of counts down makes us see what's coming next but still keeps us on the edge of the seat. Really well done, bravo! :D

I also enjoyed the repetition, it was done very well. I also like the honest message that it sends. To me it is like ...I'm not giving you a free pass but allowing you a mistake, I will love you past this so don't take that for granted because I am not stupid and I eventually will see through you.
