Lies on my lips

I'm okay...

I'm fine 

Please just listen to my lies

I hate this 

this feeling inside that says 

I'll never be okay 

I'll never be fine

when I  speak I hear nothing

 but pain in my vioce 

and sorrow in my words

though I act as if 

I'm okay 

that I'm fine 

I lay crying never a smile. 

Never a tear from laughter

only dark shadows in my eyes and 

blackness in my mind 

I'm okay 

I'm fine 

please just listen to my lies .

Well, I won't be lying when I say this is good stuff! This is what true poetry is all about. It doesn't have to rhyme or have a lilt, it has to stir the emotions. Good job!
