Meet and Greet

Holy Crap ! That is all I think as I go flying back wards I land on my butt and after a second I try to get up  however some one is holding me down I'm not a coward but at first I was scared about what was happening ,then I hear a voice telling me that its okay and that is when I realize I was almost hit by a car!

 All I remember is something on my shoulder and falling back  as I look around for what grabbed me and pulled me back I see a guy close to my age sitting behind me leaning against the wall of a building close by looking at my with such intensity that I know with out a doubt that he was the one that saved me I also know that he is one of the weird beautiful people and that I have to thank him for helping me so I slowly get up and walk over to him and sit in front of him then I look at him for real he has black hair with red highlights so alive that is looks like his hair is on fire and his body is covered in black clothes the kind I like  honestly the big jeans with chains  the black v-neck t-shirt that hugs his muscles perfectly. Last his eyes  they are the most beautiful things I have ever seen a deep green braided into a dark blue that puts all the oceans and dark night skies to shame  by the time I say something he is trying to hide his amusement but I have to say something so "Thank you" that is all I say.I am completely shocked when he says " You're welcome". For some reason I wasn't expecting him to answer but boy am I glad he did .I wasn't finished talking to this boy so I asked him a question normal people would in this situation "Whats your name ?"

" Mika, how bout you?" 

"Umm , Dillan  it was nice meeting you and thanks again for helping me " I didn't really want to say good bye but I didn't see any way to continue the conversation if you could call that a conversation ."Well, bye". As I started to get up he offered me his hand it was amazing how graceful he was and how much faster he was than me . I took his hand I saw some thing in my head I'm not sure what it was but  it was only for a quick second just as long as his skin was touching mine  and got up and said thanks again and started walking in the direction of my apartment when I notice he was walking just behind me  so I turn around and" Are you fallowing me or going in the same direction by coincidence ?"

he replied "Depends on where you're going." 

"My apartment building , so you following me or is it a happy coincident ?'

"I would say a happy coincident , I live in the apartment building a block and a half from here which one are you in ?" 

we live in the same building what are the odds "Same ,I just moved here I'm actually on my way there for the first time ". 

"That is cool I was worried I would get some weirdo for a neighbor your moving into apartment 15 on the 3rd floor right ?"

"Yeah ,  are they okay apartments ?"

" I like them they are clean, freshly renovated  some are still being painted but other than that I would say they are close to perfect".

"well that is a relief ". 

After that we didn't talk much actually we got all the way to the building without saying another word .When we got to the 3rd floor I asked "hey do you want a tour ?"

he said " I thought you haven't been in the apartment ?I probably know the place better than you "

 "well that's why you would be the one giving me the tour ".

"Ha ha ha , well since you asked so nicely I guess I have time for a quick tour ".

Damn where are the keys ? Don't tell me I lost them ... oh you're kidding me !

I looked at Mika and was about to say something when he holds his had out and drops something into my hand "I think you forgot something when you fell " I looked at my hand where my keys are resting then look back at him and ...he is smiling.

"what do you read minds? Or where you just planing to keep my keys and watch me freak about losing my keys after almost being run over by a car ?because if you are waiting for that to happen you are out of luck ha ha ha."  

"I didn't think you were the type to throw a fit about keys just making sure I don't have a crazy neighbor ."

"well, if you don't mind I would like to see my apartment ?"

"Of course ". as he steped aside  I put my key in the lock and turned  when the door opened I was a little suprised to see that their were people in my apartment . 

"Oh My God, you scared me ! what are you doing here Mika ? 

I was obviously being ignored in this situation but I tried to say  something anyway 

"Umm, who are you and what are you doing here ?" But Mika was already talking 

"I could ask you the same thing Damian?" 

when the guy named Damian said "Well our apartment is being painted .So we are staying here ".That is when I figured I should try saying something again so "Hi , I'm Dillan umm, this is my apartment. If your apartment is being painted then you can stay here its okay ". Karen had thought the apartment wouldn't be ready for me to move into any way so she gave me money for a hotel and a credit card  just in case.

"But the movers will be here soon and they will need a place to put my stuff ...".

then the other guy started talking"No, it's okay we can stay somewhere else  but it was very nice of you to offer ". 

I suddenly really wanted them to stay in my apartment  I have no clue why but I did  so I told them " Please  , stay it is okay I really don't mind and you are already set up here I would hate to push you out I would feel horrible ."

  That usually got people to stop fighting and let the other person to win right ?  guilt-ing  them into staying I think it should work . And volia like magic Damian said " Thank you that is very kind of you , but where will you stay? It isn't safe for you to be so trusting especially in a city like this". 

That was sweet of him to be concerned about me  but if he new that I could tell exactly what kind of person you were by just being in the same room as you  ,he would understand my trusting nature but he would still be concerned about me he is one of those rare people who generaly care about everyone . His boy friend on the other hand , well, he's one of those people who  you have to earn their trust and friendship .

 "Well she will stay with me ". It wasn't so much a demand as a question but  from the way he said it he seemed to want me to stay with him  .I wouldn't really do this any other time but What the hell I'll give it a go " Yeah I'll just stay with Mika , I've known him for a while so if its cool with him then yeah I think that's a good idea ".
