Galaxies

Galaxies

A Poem by Dakota Jean

Intersecting lines, parallel dimensions
Lingering fragrance on the hood of a jacket
Over by the sea you can see it gleaming
Vicious and powerful; the beast
Eventually I will fall to dust
Youth is a lie, we are eternal
Outwards through the journey we embark
Underneath, I am crying out in agony
