Blank MemoriesA Poem by Dakotah Bledsoesometimes i sit and think in a sense
then take another sip i could feel that thirst wedged in between in my my ribs like a switchblade but today i put the glass down crawling up from the bottom of the rocks waking up, only one sock try to find my shades hide my eyes from the rays but i guess i forgot what it takes to relate in this state so i write a couple lines then it's off to the daily grind days and nights spent wondering the possibilities of where the time went and i'll do this for self not for anyone else im over trying to make this place a home time to go reflecting on the essence of the message socializing, getting high with the lows put your sights on me now whats the meaning of life its more than what you probably do dig deep enough you'll find buried right inside of you talk about adversity nothing can ever be as diverse as the space that you take in your place in this universe let your light radiate on your good days and appreciate it when the clouds form the rain because today im putting that cup right down im too proud to be stuck in a corner where i left the keys finding myself in a hole where its hard to breathe. © 2013 Dakotah BledsoeReviews
