God's bathroom floor

God's bathroom floor

A Poem by Dakotah Bledsoe
"

doing a track i wrote to God's bathroom floor by atmosphere instrumental. these are the lyrics.

"
you want somebody to save you
to save you
come and save you
save you

well she was sitting by the phone. waiting for a text or a call. but he never came home.
she saw in it his eyes a couple days before the fight. now she's sleepin herself to death
and poppin pills all night. drinking a couple of bottles to just to dry up the tears.
her biggest fear that he was still running with them fools under those foggy red lights and tools.
and still no  call came. no text sent. said ill be back but now she knows what he meant.
and if you know what it's like to be alone. wasting your day away just sitting by the phone.
then you can feel the past and relive the hardships that last  but what it takes is to get up off that sinking
ship and.

you want somebody to save you
to save you
come and save you
save you
just save you
3x

now by this time she was living a livid life. she become more than aware of all the lies. she believed
his every word that built the structure of his emotional cage. she wonders how pain could become such a daily thing.
now she's getting stronger by the days. realizing she doesn't need a man to make her feel amazing. now
she's smiling at the woman looking back, in the mirror cause now there's no turning back now that she can see clearer
that man is in the past and.
now he's the one waiting for a text back. and he calls but she aint worried at all. she cut his a*s off.
she aint even thinking about his feelings any longer. sometimes you have to cut out the looser ends
to become stronger. and there's no place that i'd rather be, just sitting here underneath this tree
just you and me.
blue skies above us with the sun smiling down and just now that you're in great hands now.
so don't worry yourself.

(Chorus)
