infinite geometryA Poem by Dakotah Bledsoe
Now how we got there I don't know
But we all sing a different song Through ages stages turn to dust We learn how to get along through childhood dreams To petty schemes we all grasp the same sunflower and in our teens we fill the screams as our souls become devoured In our seventies we find ourselves we find the ones that cowered and in the stars we see so far we see the infinite patterns in our own powers we delight and define the infinite rings of saturn so full of question always looking for the answer the light diminishes as Im blowning out the candles so make make a wish for the time being with a painting of true colors and most favored of songs repeating growing up it was hard to get along I made you all up in my head then expressed it in this song with a loss for words within the presence of time's essence but hopefully I'll keep the conversation with the poetry because every step he takes is an anomaly he's making moves like an epileptic in his sleep rise to the sound of the streets peeling off his sheets after resting in his peace he stomps the ground beneath his feet no one hears him when prays so he looks to better days even though hes never seen them anyways by the time that i fell off his latter he trips on the pieces of the life that he shattered even though the past doesn't matter he swallowed every drop of that bottle of his selfishness gazing every night at the diamonds in the sky just to watch as the planets collide he realized the only thing to do until this trip was through was to ever search for you © 2013 Dakotah BledsoeReviews
