WAITINGA Poem by dakarai
Without direction, I must remain lost.
Without protection, I must remain scared That the Creator never even cared That I needed a "DAD" to split the cost. Like my fatherless mother, hope got tossed Out the back door. My feelings were not spared, Staring at a reality that dared Not bare the load of the path that got crossed. Advise said "STAY PUT," instead of baiting The DEVINE, WHO can not find the trotter; Words of advise that I end up hating. Sometimes, I wonder if I should bother Wondering why we must waste time waiting For the GOD to define the WORD father. © 2014 dakaraiAuthor's Note
