ABSTRACTIONIST

ABSTRACTIONIST

A Poem by dakarai
"

A person who produces abstract works of art.

"
Apart from a normality that starts
Between formalities and concrete molds,
Structures make bold statements that must be told
To those who view the new with open hearts.
Realities change when the strange cart parts
Attached to original odes of old
Chorus; short songs seen with verses that hold
Their own. Short songs that seek targets like darts.
Instruments of inspiration inscribe
Objects that are not practical in thought,
Not applied to instance, and not implied.
Instead of implications, proof is sought
Somewhere between the outside and inside
Truths, as a new way of thinking is taught.

I loved this!

Also, I actually enjoy art, somewhat. Abstract art's the best.

Great poem!
