I CAN HEAR THE WATER CRY

I CAN HEAR THE WATER CRY

A Poem by dakarai
"

Desperate display of sadness

"
Tired and uninspired,
I can hear the water cry.
I die a thousand times a day,
Just look inside my eye.
Too tired to be inspired.
Too scared to call GOD a liar.
My desire was for a life,
Where strife was not required,
Retire somewhere where pain did not exist.
I missed my opportunity,
So goodbye my a*s got kissed;
Got dissed by every angel in the sky.
I am too afraid to die,
Since I can hear the water cry.
Away, one day, I just want to fly,
But, I'm too afraid to die,
Since I can hear the water cry.

Dark and dismal emotions well expressed in this poem. No one knows what tomorrow brings....being afraid does not solve anything, does it? Just moving onward and accepting what life offers is all we can do. Often things are out of our control. Lydi**

Got dissed by every angel in the sky.
I am too afraid to die,
Brilliant lines, a reflection on how we all feel sometimes but maybe don't like to admit it.....
