Drabble story about Lucifer's search for redemption.

The redemption I seek is mine alone, but others are sure to follow.

My Legions cry for my absence, but I cannot lead them anymore.

I have missed the compassion, the love that he gives all.

I seek only his forgiveness, but not his grace. Never Will I deserve that favor again.

Thrown down from paradise, Lord of all that is evil and dark, I choose to walk amongst the graced.

I am Lucifer, Bringer of Light, most high of the Heavenly Host, most hated of the choirs of angels.

Lord God of High, I beg for your mercy, your forgiveness.
