A soul's struggle to survive through the storms in the woods of the heart and mind.
It's been a long way, And there you are! My green canopy!
Bathed in dew, Storm-hit thrice last night, And yet...
Yet you sway in the morning breeze!
My Holy Mary! How you bask in this sunlit crease!
And they say a storm destroys. If that be true and you be wise, Then why she bled and suffered thrice ? Look how her wings are set ablaze, Yet see her feet that merrily sways.
It swooped and smashed, And cranked the tunes, It swapped at your brows, And grassy dunes. With your feet and its merry swing, You held the pieces of your broken wing, With a life to live and a song to sing, You knew you are more of a human being.
I wonder if you are fake! For my world is fake too, Then so am I, And so are you.
Yet they say a storm destroys. Then hold your faith if you are wise, For she hath bled and suffered thrice. Without a fall, without a tilt, Without a wither beneath, For faith it is that finally turned, The storm into her sheath.
But Hark! Behold! Does every happy face have a reason to cheer? Or is it but an art to hide that dreaded fear? Who is asking? Who is answering? We never stop to hear. For my world out there is in the wild too my dear.
the storms of the heart, the refuge in the forest of another...
survival...if we are both fake, then we are kidding ourselves that we are true to love...but i think those lines in the poem...are saying if you are fake, i will be fake with you...we need each other, one way or another.

"the storms of the heart, the refuge in the forest of another..." -- This line so beautifully merges our thoughts together!
And yes you got it right with your lines "if we are both fake, then we are kidding ourselves that we are true to love" That connects more to the meaning! But I absolutely love the other perspective you gave too. A different dimension I can work upon in my upcoming write-ups. Thank You :)
A kind of allegory, which is relevant to each of us. Those woods of the heart and mind can be dark places, but they can also be places of refuge. An interesting and inventive write!
