You in Haiku

You in Haiku

A Poem by Daisy Moon

I stop and I stare,
looking up as I ponder.
Vivid thoughts of you.

Palms begin to sweat,
then my heart begins to race.
Yet, there is this ache.

When I see your face,
it puts a smile on my own.
You fill me with joy.

Memories won't fade,
no matter how hard I try,
to wash them away.
