The Drawing

A sketch is art,

a drawing is expression,

I am both,

like a massive art cart.

I look at the page,

I stare at its gaze,

I dare think, 

about the colours,

like pink. 

Silly I was,

now more mature,

art is special, 

more like a medicine,

or cure. 

I take life more seriously, 

but not like art,

a drawing, 

the drawing, 

a sketch, 

a page, 

the people,

the scene. 

Now not locked, 

in a cage

I still care,

I draw, 

I still dare,

the hardest of things,

I make drawing reality,

special and better.

That's me, 

that's art.
