10 WORD CONTEST - LETTER,UTENSIL, TICKEL, STARFISH, SPARSE PALOMINO,CANOPY,KINGDOM,ABREAST,WHEEL

"

                                                   My KINGDOM for a horse

not just any ordinary horse

I wanteth a PALOMINO colored horse

come hither, I am the Prince of Naught

I shalt visit the King

way yonder below the Royal Marquee CANOPY

but first my friend I am filled with pangs of hunger

what is thither to consume

bringeth me a pigs head to stuff mine visage

bring wine and an innocent wench

to clip mineth toe nails!

perhaps tis too late for a LETTER

the King must be kept ABREAST of my strategies of war!

prepare to fight, I will vomit on your leggings

I haveth been informed of his personal extravagances

and his crazy dementia

maybe a gift will TICKLE his fancy

Shalt I offer a gold STARFISH stolen off the great Mayflower

or perhaps a more practical offering

a UTENSIL of sorts...

silverware from the Duchess Martha Stewart

or a WHEEL that is roundeth not squareth

although his rather SPARCE and scattered intellect

may cause my head to be chopped off!

Off with his head!

.. 'bringeth me a pigs head to stuff mine visage

A brilliant use of the ten words, a wonderful tongue-tie of -eths and the like. Plus, made laugh aloud !

PS.. the accompanying cartoon is absolutely RIGHT. x

An interesting little write, Hebe.

Very inventive and witty with a very zany premise. I am not very fond of all these ten word contests that have appeared lately, but you have managed to meet the restrictive requirements in an entertaining way.

A fun piece of work, well presented with some funny pictures to accompany it. Nicely done.

What a delightful romp this was! You might think you are the Prince of Naught, but, indeed, I sayeth you are the King of Comedy here. Loved it. Lydi**
