HoudiniA Poem by HebeMind games we get caught up in, that reak havoc on our psyche!.......And those pictures I saw Oh what a reality check! No no I knew it, it was so evident Your transparency swims along side with the jelly fish such a jester, an illusionist of sorts...... a Jack of Spades, in every pocket the pain a jagged spear, piercing my every breath The room I sit in, the images that flash, you must be practicing your Great Escape! only I feel like I'm the one tied up in the tank of water looming walls of stark white You hate them, you must hate me... The white room, ironically the place you spend most of your nights the light from your cell, reflecting off the TV screen the stairs creaking, paralyzed to the spot I hide in the shadows, disgusted at my demise, whats next, handcuffs, straight jacket? I'm in that space I don't want to be you and your side kick Houdini create black smoke and illusions I wait for your next trick.....the coffin? We all wait for the sword to slice it in two ! © 2017 HebeReviews
