Transplant

Transplant

A Poem by Hebe

I heard you had a heart transplant
that you almost died
but your back, better than ever!
how lucky you must feel!
Not so, you tell me
you wish you were dead
that living is much harder than dying
amazing statement, considering we are now a couple
.....so when you hold my hand
and tell me how much you love me
you see death as your savior....
should I jump off their bridge now?
