All Is Not LostA Poem by Hebe
All is not lost
only the numbness of my lips and the dryness in my throat
I can only hear the pounding of my heart beats in my ears My mind thrown into chaos,
as I strain to hold control of pain that has risen from the depths of hell A hand that holds my throat
My screams muffled in the padded room of my mind I am left hanging on my own crucifix ....blood dripping from my open wounds I feel the nails hammered into the intricate webs of my convoluted mass of gray and white matter My capacity has overflowed All is not lost Except my mind, at this moment! © 2017 HebeReviews
