Sonnet About Love

Sonnet About Love

A Poem by daisies-falling
"

Another class excersise. I really enjoyed it. :)

"

Now there is nothing sweeter than my pain,

I’m drunken on my perception of love.

Immobilized by the promise of gain,

There is only one thing I can think of.

For what reason is love romanticized?

Love is a massive excuse to get hurt,

It is all just covered by a disguise.

People broadcast it like an old tee-shirt.

Why, why do people think that love is easy?

‘Kisses are the flowers of love in bloom’

Because love is supposed to flow so freely?

Excuse me, please go get yourself a room.

Love is not a typical story book.

If you ask me, love is just a foul crook.
