The Tomb of me

The Tomb of me

A Poem by TheAimlessWanderer
"

we shall see

"
let the cold lay under my skin

waking me from my dreamless slumber

opening the eternal

an eye opens in the dark

not seeing

but still there

a wall crumbles to the ground

deaf ears are all that can be found

the wall seeping tears of blood

pooling

covering

 covering the cemetery walls

dripping dripping

the plaque is rusted

their hearts are crusted

moss covers the door

a grove of stillness

for that is all it shall ever be

the walls have crumbled

and the vines mangled and drawing

taking all sunlight and strangling the trees

the fetid smell of rot permeates walls

just another day in the tomb of me

the crypt is breaking but i am still trapped

the vines dig deep and their thorny roots bear seed

just another day

in the tomb of me

let rats have their feast

at least they see...
