A Wisdom Of Passing

A Wisdom Of Passing

A Poem by TheAimlessWanderer
"

i really hope you guys like the meaning behind this ones just as i do i worked extra hard on this one trying to apply all the tips that i have been given to the best of my ability hope you enjoy it !

"
faded words gleam brightly in new eyes

as new ones rarely shine in stone

but in eyes of aged crystal, light permeates beyond the surface

for disciplines are not learnt, or taught

they are felt

a self resonating call,

an individual truth,

a reasoning,

and a feeling of passing felt through the ages and beyond.

it is inconceivable

a malleable freedom and constraint.

the etched path is worn and deeply ingrained

and obstacles are but sand underfoot

for through the changes

life  is evershifting.

and though worn and weary

life can be given anew

becoming a  stream

and a pool.

to be born

and its reflection shines brightly

on the new era,

a wisdom of passing.

and so new eyes are born,

permeating with light,

casting a gleaming reflection

on the streams and pools

and so the path etched in the stone road has become sand

shifting and worn

undefinable but true...

Chris, this poem is a beautifully and fully defined paean to life's journey. A life journey that we all must undertake. Age and wisdom are the rewards in the end, Death but the final step of the voyage. This is without doubt a very good poem. Good write.

You portray life's journey very eloquently.
It is what it is, a journey.
From the start to the end, where no one know the final outcome.

A deeply insightful and strong depiction of life's journey and the inter-twined truth of age and wisdom portrayed skillfully through your poetry. Excellent write-up. Looking forward to more of your brilliant work :)

A wise person learn from yesterday and try to do better today. The poem is positive and allowed the reader to ponder many things. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
