Military Daughter

This was hard to write, remembering all the times without him. Hope you all like it. XD

I am a militery daughter

I wonder if he knows he is my HERO

I hear my mom cry alone

I see her try to hide her sorrow

 

I am a militery daughter

I pretend everything is fine

I feel lonely without my Dad here

I touch pictures of him and

I worry for his safty

I cry when there are those special moments he misses

 

I am a militery daughter

I understand he is protecting our country

I say he will be home soon

I dream of the day we are reunited

I try to be strong for my mother, my brother, and my sister

I hope we never find men in uniform at our door

A very sad poem. I hope no child have to learn of a father or mother death. You wrote on a sad subject. War take from our world and the people we are fighting against. A powerful poem. If it is true. KOOL!¡!¡! I have been hoping to find some more military and have succeeded!
I just wish people would realize what military AND THEIR FAMILY go through.

It seems pretty hard to find other military people lately. And i t seems like people only see that military families tend to sometimes be broken and they move a lot and I think people think we're fake because we tend to be tougher

Yup.
I live in a military community and my friend is moving Friday. I never freak out when she talks about it and it confuses a lot of pol. Sometimes I think it hurts her that I don't freak out

I was basically raised to not show emotion which led people to think I'm heartless and that really hurt. It's just a mindset though

They also wonder why I don't like to open up and tell all about my emotion

Well done. I've never had anyone close to me overseas so I can't even imagine. Your thoughts and emotions were conveyed well. The only critique I can give you is to fix up where you misspelled 'military' a few times. Otherwise, great job!
