Corrupt Companion

Corrupt Companion

A Poem by Phillip Francis

Perplexed Perception.

Surging Skepticism.

Baffled by behavior, still feared this day would come.

Deceit Disclosed.

Passion Primal.

Animosity has matured, no longer I play dumb.

Committed Concern.

Hollow Heart.

Provided my all, you beat me like a drum.

Battle Banished.

Endowment Elapsed.

Boycott the conversation, senses numb.

Dynamic Drained.

Bewildered Brain.

Outlooks clash, Where's deception coming from?

Friendship Foiled.

Handicapped Happiness.

No longer bother, it's clear what this has become.

I like the way you wrote this one - it flowed well with the topic - friendship gone bad for whatever reason so it's got that snappy beat to it!
